944 Magazine – a fashion, entertainment and lifestyle glossy with publications in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego and Phoenix currently seeks a Creative Director to join our creative team for the hottest, fastest growing magazine in the West. The Creative Director’s responsibility is to focus on the online creative future of 944 Magazine in the digital world.

Responsibilities:


*Oversee all web-based creative work


*Own every aspect of the design process -- from inception to execution to refinement

*Develop and Present innovative concepts and work with demanding individuals at all levels of client organization

*Collaborate with management, design and technology counterparts

*Provide clear, concise direction to internal teams and outside vendors

*Participate actively in local and national interactive marketing and design communities

Requirements:

 

****Must have an online Portfolio****


*Six to eight years of professional experience, with at least four years as a senior level creative in interactive/web/multimedia


*Bachelors or higher degree in a creative discipline.

*Solid working knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Flash, HTML, CSS, Quark, InDesign
 
*Demonstrated ability to combine creative and business goals

*Successful experience working with and selling to clients

*Ability to direct creative teams including developers, designers, and writers

*Strong time management and creative resource management capabilities

*Demonstrated ability to direct and multi-task effectively under pressure
