POSITION SUMMARY:
Operate and monitor various system platforms (e.g. UNIX and Windows) and applications ran in the mentioned platforms as specified and according to detailed instructions required by each job.
Assume the responsibility of the duties assigned to junior operators. Perform tasks assigned by Senior Operators and Operations Manager.  Assist in training less experience Computer Operators.
Determine when it is appropriate to escalate by following the pre-designed Incident Control Plan, may also provide technical support depending on the system or application that is down.
Support user’s requests for job scheduling, tape loading, data recovery, and other operational assignments as needed.
Responds to requests from systems and applications software and hardware support personnel and users for operations assistance.
Perform all duties in accordance with Ameriquest’s policies and procedures and all state and federal regulation.
