System Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

 

Under direction from a Project Manager, participate in Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) related projects.  Assist clients with the information queries and ongoing maintenance of CAFM systems.   This position requires interaction with clients and the manager to build client relationships. Insure the client is getting the maximum benefits from their CAFM products and services. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The position requires working directly with the clients, supporting their internal customers, business departments and divisions, located in multiple Government sites.

2. Perform Site Surveys

3. Maintain CAD/CAFM drawings, data maintenance and integrity

4. Provide various Ad Hoc reports for clients

5. Assist with Special Projects as necessary

6. Assist the project progress through execution of various CAFM related duties to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget

7. Responsible for documentation and accuracy of CAFM projects.

8. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.

 

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:

 

· Will be measured by a clearly defined set of metrics that will be applied to the CAFM program.

 

· The Analyst will be evaluated on success of the program, as well as company and personal growth goals.

 

 

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

 

· Will report primarily to Project manager(s) as needed.

· Will interact and receive direction from resource manager as well.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Successful candidate must be detail oriented, self directed and able to execute.

Preferred software experience in the following:

· AutoCAD  (2002 + version)

· CAFM application experience (ARCHIBUS a plus)

· Microsoft Office and Project

· Reporting Application’s (Crystal Reports, etc.)

Communication – must be able to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, findings, issues, and questions both orally and in writing.  

Customer Relations – must be able to develop and maintain customer relations through open and clear communication as well as personal and project performance. This is a critical attribute and position requirement.

 

2. Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level:

 

Experience with Federal Government culture is desirable.  DoD experience is most desirable.

A four-year degree or equivalent. Current CAFM experience a plus. Space management and an understanding of CAD skills are required.  Knowledge of how a facilities department operates. Working knowledge of ARCHIBUS/FM is a plus. Experience with government clients highly desired.  Ability to maintain a national security clearance is required.

 

3. Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations

Current demand is for minimum TS cleared personal.

With requirements for TS/SCI clearance on several projects.

 

4. Travel Requirements:

Currently approximately 20%
