MAINTENANCE/ ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR

IMMEDIATE OPENING for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR FOR A LONG TERM CARE FACILITY  IN THE  LONG BEACH AREA! 


Duties:

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating and performing maintenance, repair,
and replacement of plant machinery (compressed air systems, heat re-claimers, boilers, HVAC, water
softener, etc.).

The Maintenance Supervisor will utilize proper skilled techniques to assure the safe, efficient operation of
all plant machinery and document all work performed. You must maintain compliance with all Federal, State,
and local laws and regulations that affect the plant operations, and comply with company safety policies
and practices to promote safety awareness within the facility. The successful applicant will work with the
personnel to schedule preventive and break-down maintenance. You will be responsible for two to four
employees, scheduling working hours to cover 7-day operations, and supervising the work of the
associates. This is a HANDS-ON management role!

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience in managing Maintenance in a SKILLED NURSING FACILITY/ASSISTED LIVING is a HUGE PLUS!

Possess a knowledge of plant operations and preventive maintenance systems, etc. Demonstrated
mechanical and electrical aptitude; basic knowledge of required codes; ability to plan ahead and adhere to a
proper schedule; ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
