Primary function is as a contact to handle incoming patient telephone requests for prescription drug consultation. Patient education regarding appropriate drug therapy, mail order process, and interchange process may be necessary. Work as part of a team with pharmacists and technicians in a call center environment.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Pharmacy knowledge, drug utilization review, excellent consultation skills relating to customer service. PC literate, solid writing skills, knowledge of pharmacy laws, and accurate clinical information. AZ pharmacist license in good standing required.

Prefer retail pharmacy experience or other pharmacist to patient consultation experience. Must be able to perform with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills.

Minimum of a BS or PharmD in Pharmacy. Graduate studies, masters, or MBA preferred
