Sr. Commercial / Real Estate Loan Processor

SR. PROCESSOR/TEAM LEAD: COMMERCIAL/REAL ESTATE LENDING DEPARTMENT

 

Directly reports to VP of Loan Operations.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for processing, collecting applicable documentation, closing, auditing, funding & wiring funds on all loans originated on site.  In addition, you will field questions for Jr. Loan Processors as needed.  Duties include work flow distribution as necessary, building rapport with the processing team itself as well as develop close working relationships with the on site Loan Officers of all levels, peers, external vendors and Senior Management.

 

You provide and communicate requested information on current practices and processes and changes as requested by Senior Management and the on-site Compliance Officer. You will learn the internal audit process for commercial files to ensure correct data integrity input into the loan servicing system. The ideal candidate will also be required to comply with all regulatory state and federal guidelines as dictated by the on site Compliance Officer.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Strong background in Commercial Lending/Real Estate loan processing along with proven leadership capabilities. Must have a high level of professionalism along with excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must as well as being highly organized, detail oriented, accurate and able to demonstrate practical reasoning skills in stressful situations. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to thrive in an ever changing environment. Must be able to delegate as necessary. Must be able to identify industry wide loan documents and have a strong overall understanding of general commercial and real state lending transactions.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS: Possess working knowledge of common industry loan processing systems as well as loan servicing applications such as Fi-Serv and electronic document delivery applications such as Laser Pro and Data Tech. Have excellent overall computer skills to include Microsoft outlook, excel, word, and ability to learn any proprietary mortgage banking applications.
