Senior Vice President, Regional Manager

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, President Regional and Local Builders, this position will supervise business development, loan underwriting and portfolio management in a pre-established geographic area.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Achieving targeted production and financial goals, and maintaining an acceptable customer credit profile.
- Underwriting customer credit and managing the portfolio once booked.
- Hiring, training and supervising a lending staff, both in the regional office and in up to 4 satellite offices located in the region.
- Maintaining the Group's credit and business culture.
- Approving loans in the predetermined region.
- Keeping senior management informed on market conditions in region.
- Ensuring the adherence to all Bank and Group policies and procedures in region, as well as the accurate documentation and tracking of all noted policy exceptions.

A successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills with ability to relay credit presentations to senior management.
- Effective negotiation skills with ability to ensure the Group's position in loan negotiations.
- Ability to mentor younger, less experienced staff members.
- PC proficiency (Word and Excel).

The ideal candidate may also possess:
- Formal bank credit training.
