The Loan Consultant is responsible for the business-critical function of working very closely with our First Mortgage borrowers. This will entail extensive knowledge of product lines and predetermined investor guidelines. This role will also require for the Loan Consultant to be able to work very closely with the team Loan Processor and cross functional teams who play an integral part in the funding of the loan. The Loan Consultant should also be accustomed to working in a fast-paced, high production environment, coupled with a dedication to providing outstanding levels of accuracy and quality. Our ideal candidate will work very closely with our valued customers to ensure that their questions and loan files are processed quickly and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

·Sell Purchase & Refinance home loans via phone, email and face-to-face.
·Meet or exceed monthly sales objectives.
·Determine credit worthiness by analyzing credit documents and reviewing loan conditions and HOA documentation.
·Effectively manage all the loans in the pipeline.
·Assist our valued customer throughout entire loan funding process.
·Work cohesively with the designated Loan Processor.
·Analyze a credit package quickly including calculating income and ratios and determine additional information required for loan approval.
·Work closely with the customer, Loan Processor and Underwriting in clearing conditions in order close and fund loans.
-Relationship build with relators, while introducing them to E-LOAN products.

Requirements:

·Bachelor degree or equivalent mortgage experience
·Proven sales track record in the Purchase/Refinance Mortgage Market.
·A thorough understanding of mortgage products.
·Two to five years experience in mortgage origination and/or Sales
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and collaboration with other cross- functional teams.
·The ability to sell effectively on the phone and/or via email
·High energy and great communication skills
·Proficient in MS Office and the internet
