Perform accounting and operations procedures necessary to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.  Complete the preparation and filing of various required reports and interface with the auditors during field examinations. 


Perform minimum net capital test for firm underwriting commitments.
Prepare Financial and Operational (FOCUS) report.
Serve as the Operations liaison with the firms clearing correspondent.
Monitor firm proprietary accounts with clearing correspondent and move funds as necessary.
Work closely with external auditors to ensure that the HSC Audited Financials are completed in a timely manner and sent to all the required regulatory agencies and states of registration within the stated deadline.
Responsible for tracking HSC incentive based bonuses and commissions.
Perform budget analyses of HSC revenue and expenses.
Receive, record, and deposit all payments made to HSC.
Review all vendor payables for accuracy, approve for payment (within prescribed limits) and process general ledger coding sheets.
Payroll coordinator.
Work with external auditors on financials as appropriate.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
• College Degree in Business Administration or Accounting
• 3-5 years Accounting & Financial reporting experience (securities industry experience preferred )
• CPA preferred
• Current on Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and regulatory accounting as applied to financial institutions.
