Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Media Works team members represent every area of our business, from technology and innovation to film and television production and are an integral part of making NBC Universal one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
This scheduler position is a L174 Union position that does the coordinating delivery of new season TV product. Responsibilities to include:
Mastering and submastering for all first run TV series for International Distribution
Telecine, film to tape re-mastering projects
Evaluate rejected materials from International Clients
Issue purchase orders and approve invoices
Research elements for Distribution Group
Update multiple spreadsheets on a daily basis
Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualifications:
Must possess a sound understanding of videotape mastering and submastering, to include experience with all HiDef formats, down conversions, standards conversions, aspect ratio conversions, cross conversions and duplication of all formats
Knowledge of high definition mastering
Knowledge of all aspects of film/telecine re-mastering and film formats
Must possess knowledge of audio formats
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Eligibility Requirements:

This is Local 174 Union position. Must be willing to join the L174 union.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must be 18 years or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired:
Must be organized, detail oriented with extremely good follow through and possess flexibility with assigned tasks
ScheduAll experience preferred
Ability to coordinate high volume of work
Ability to multitask and work under extremely tight deadlines
