Student Life is an organization that exists to Help People Know Christ Through His Word. It does this through summer camps, winter and spring conferences and a year-round Bible Study curriculum.

In 2000 approximately 25,000 people attended camps at Student Life. In 2006, that number exceeded 53,000. Those numbers continues to grow. Since 2000, Student Life has added mission camps, beach camps, mission partnerships, a Bible study curriculum company, international mission trips, and much more. We believe there is more to do.

Student Life is committed to excellence. We do not want to do things the same way we did them in the past for the sake of doing it the same again. We evaluate things regularly. We hope to continue to be open to improve and change.

Qualifications:
Education: BA degree. Courses in graphic design and web design required. Courses in marketing desired.
Experience: Graphic design experience with multi-faceted portfolio desired including print and web design.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
-Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
-Illustration skills useful
-Confident and quick decision-making skills
-Ability to use Macintosh OS X
-Familiarity with software programs Quark X-press, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Word, Outlook Express, Entourage, Stuffit, and PowerPoint
-Good memory, observant, self-motivated, diligent, flexible, creative, knowledge of basic e-mail applications, and organized

Job Description:
-Working in 2-D design - ranging from one-color flyers to 4-color fold-out brochures also including signage for camp and trade shows
-Working in 3-D design, such as 4-color video/DVD boxes with sleeves
-Web design
-Following the direction of the Art Director in prioritizing projects
-Examine bluelines and other proofs of projects to which designer is working on
-Working with Marketing Director and printers to ensure that any project is followed out to the specifications established
-Available to work with the Resource Director to design products
-Collecting and submitting finished projects in a timely fashion, according to deadlines set by the Marketing Director
