Director, HRIS

Position Description:


POSITION SUMMARY
Directs the administration and operations of the HRIS function, serves as the process leader in support of the systems supporting HR, ensures compliance of all processes and creates reports and queries retrieving data for use by management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform audit, reconciliation and financial analysis functions for HRIS applications.
2. Investigate and implement process automation and improvements to HRIS.
3. Lead the design, development and implementation of all HRIS-related solutions.
4. Manage HRIS vendors ensuring we have good relationships and are fully utilizing the services they provide.
5. Responsible for design and support for HRIS business processes.
6. Oversee the capture and data management of employee data ensuring timely processing and data integrity.
7. Develops procedures for timely, accurate data entry and auditing of system data.
8. Creates reports and queries retrieving data for use by management.
Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience
• 6 or more years progressively complex related experience
• Excellent knowledge of HR, information retrieval and related systems
• Excellent project management, customer service, interpersonal, and communications skills
• Extensive experience with Peoplesoft and Access databases, and other systems
• Strong ability to use programs such as Excel, Word, Access, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving communication and organization skills
Ability to diagnose system problems through discussion with users including research, resolution, isolation and results
