Regional Sales Manager

We are part of a fast-growing international all-cargo airline, seeking to expand our USA sales presence. Our immediate needs are in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Brownsville, Austin y Mc Allen. However, we have a very aggressive expansion plan with many opportunities throughout the USA.

To successfully penetrate these markets, we need a results-driven cargo sales executive who can develop a strong portfolio of accounts and interline business.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Establishing a strong and loyal customer base
- Establishing territory plans and sales goals
- Conducting sales calls and visits with customers and associated businesses: freight forwarders, airlines, importers / exporters, trade associations, etc.
- Achieving established volume and revenue goals
- Providing market intelligence and status, weekly / monthly sales reports, and other market recommendations
- Coordinate closely with trucking companies and other service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service
- Coordinate with MIA sales and operations personnel to ensure proper operational flows, capacity and yield management and quality of service

Applicants will posses the following capabilities:

- Minimum 2 years of international cargo sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience desired
- Experienced with making client calls and presentations
- Strong local and regional contacts in the airline and freight forwarding communities
- Ability to set and achieve sales goals and objectives
- Computer literacy in Excel and Word
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Spanish
