Manager-Building Cleaning

Penauille Servisair a global leader in aviation services is seeking a full-time Manager-Building Cleaning at its JFK International Airport location.  The qualified candidate will assume, but not be limited to the following,

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Oversee all aspects of department including staffing, budget and quality performance.

· Oversee and direct team of supervisors. Counsel on issues relating to operational structure, technique and training.

· Insure payroll is submitted and appropriate approvals have been submitted.

· Participate in disciplinary hearings and union grievances necessary.

· Participate in and lead the development of ongoing continuous improvement programs.

· Primary point of contact with vendors and distributors.

· Perform periodic quality control inspections.

· Conduct periodic team meetings with staff.

· Identify staffing requirements and submit for approval.

· Continuously update Facility Manager of operational activities.

· Groom subordinates for improved team building and future personal growth.

· Instill integrated facility management philosophy in systems to support the entire team success.

· Oversee Skycap and Wheelchair Services

· Maintain electronic records and expenses

· Generate reports for GM and customers

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-College degree, H.S. diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and a minimum five years in management capacity as it relates to

 Facility Cleaning Service.

- Must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.

-Technical knowledge required includes computer literacy in Microsoft applications (e.g. Windows 98 or higher, MS Word and Excel).
