Currently, we are recruiting for a General Tree Care Climber in our Brookville, NY Branch.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the performance of specialized pruning and takedowns, installing cabling and bracing, safely operating equipment (chainsaw, chipper, trucks, hand tools)
Utilize knowledge of compartmentalization and other concepts related to tree wounding/pruning
Be able to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
Maintain excellent client relations and provide thorough information to clients
Applicable experience preferred:
Proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
Chain saw safety and operation
Tree climbing
Bucket truck operation
CDL
