JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation is looking for a competent experienced individual to support various Battle Station Engineering, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), and sensor/acoustic programs as a Technical Writer. The successful candidate would be expected to write, edit, index, and/or revise a variety of technical documentation including Power Point briefings.  The candidate would be expected to collaborate with programmers, engineers, and technical personnel to gain an understanding of the various programs in order to analyze requirements and determine the types of publications needed.  The candidate would be expected to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and an understanding of programming concepts and operating systems are important. Additionally, the Tech Writer must possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines under the  minimal supervision of a Program Manager.

 

Military or NavAir experience preferred.Related Degree preferred.

 MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN ACTIVE DoD SECURITY CLEARANCE, or ability to obtain TRAVEL REQUIRED 2-4 years technical writing experience
