Technical Manager
Job Description: CDI is seeking a Technical Manager to provide supervision and leadership to the Technical Leads. This candidate will be responsible for each applicable account, manage the schedule, cost, manpower, and quality concerns of all work performed. Duties also include high-level customer liaison and new customer orientation and development.
Major Responsibilities:
•Manage manpower and resource assignments, (hiring, re-assignment, terminations) to accomplish all workload requirements for assigned accounts.
•Coordinate with and keep informed the Business Unit Manager and other Technical Managers, of short and long term requirements.
•Monitors and helps establish measurements and metrics of task delivery performance with respect to cost, quality, and schedule.
•Initial interface with new customers on technical issues, processes, and job requirements and subsequently coordinating incoming work packages for schedule requirements with Tech. Leads.
•Responsible for the review and approval of employee timecards.
•Responsible for the overall quality of the outgoing work and holding customer quality meetings for assigned accounts.
•Works with Tech Leads and other Managers to establish hardware and software requirements along with maintaining full understanding of staff capabilities and CDI direction.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
•Requires 5 years minimum related technical experience.
•Demonstrated management skills necessary to direct and supervise staff.
•Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to assess business situations and develop and establish priorities.
