This position requires contract management activities relating to diagnostic systems sales directly to the U.S. Government.

**Note: Position will be based in Huntsville, Alabama

This position is responsible for providing a full range of contract management and administration functions for assigned customers and programs. A Senior Contract Administrator is normally assigned to the more complex and significant programs and customers which have strategic importance to the business and greater risk of performance, generally including extensive non-recurring development effort.

The primary responsibilities of this position are a) negotiation of price and terms & conditions in support of FUS' program/customer strategy, b) establish the agreed contract baseline for contract and technical performance and communicate to the program team; c) monitor & report compliance to program & contract requirements during the entire program life cycle from proposal to development and thru production to aftermarket support phases; d) seek opportunities to improve the profitability of the business in balance with maximizing customer satisfaction; e) support achievement strategic objectives for sales, backlog, OI, working capital and customer satisfaction.

The principal accountabilities are:

1.Establish a clear and complete contract baseline to enable
performance in accordance with approved program business
parameters.

2.Minimize assumption of business and contract risk; communicate
risk issues to appropriate management levels and develop
contingency plans as necessary.

3.Protect FUS' Intellectual Property interests through appropriate
contract terms and PIA's.

4.Develop accurate and complete sales and bookings forecasts and
achieve same.

5.Meet goals for cash flow, receivables and working capital.

6.Provide clear contract direction and advice to the program team
members consisting of Program Managers, Engineers, Purchasing,
Operations, etc. as required to assure contract performance.

7.Represent FUS to the customer in all matters with a high level
of competence, professionalism,integrity and credibility.

This position requires a broad skill set to deal with multiple disciplines and all organizational levels.

1. Highly proficient at drafting and interpreting terms and
conditions.

2. A sound understanding of financial analysis and pricing
methodologies.

3. Specific training in negotiation techniques and methodologies.

4. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations,
Uniform Commercial Code and Intellectual Property policies and
principles.

5. Full knowledge of industry practices applied in both a
developmental and production environment.

6. A level of knowledge pertaining to related disciplines such as
engineering, finance, purchasing,manufacturing, configuration
management, etc. which enables the incumbent to proficiently
perform all assigned contract administration duties. Incumbent
must be able to understand, interpret and analyze processes and
practices in such related disciplines in order to make
decisions, prepare for and conduct negotiations and determine
compliance to contract terms and conditions.

7. Sound customer satisfaction skills which balance FUS' near &
long term interests with those of the customer, aimed at
maximizing profitability while building and maintaining long
term customer relationships.

8. Full computer skill proficiency with typical office suite,
spreadsheet and other financial/analytical applications.

Minimum level = B.S. in Business, Finance/Accounting.
MBA desirable.
