Systems Engineer  - Ballistic Missile Defense

Opportunity: Systems Engineer responsible for supporting technical and programmatic functions in Huntsville, AL. Typical activities include 1) Supporting Ballistic Missile Defense integration activities 2) conducting independent technical analyses, evaluation, and assessment of system engineering tasks 3) assist in development and/or assessment of system engineering documentation including, System Verification Plan, Requirements, Specifications, Interface Control Documents, and 4) generation of technical reports, schedules, and briefings.

 

Education: Preferences: BS degree in Engineering or Science discipline preferred. Master’s Degree and management / project management experience is a plus.

 

Experience: 10 years experience in Air and Missile Defense with at least 5 years of experience in design, development, and/or fielding of Command, Control, and Communications systems required. Minimum Requirements: Will interface on a daily basis with government and other contractor personnel in a team environment. Must be able to analyze and resolve problems and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some travel (approximately 20% of time) required.
