Quality Systems Specialist
JOB DUTIES: Ensures that performance and quality of products conform
to established company, and governmental regulatory standards; agency
guidelines; and customer requirements by implementing, overseeing, and
maintaining quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures,
and controls. Administers operational plans or procedures and
coordinates with customer and supplier representatives to ensure
satisfactory Quality System performance. Analyzes and compiles
performance reports and process improvement statistics in order to
determine and improve process capability. Performs such specialized
quality functions as development of quality tools, techniques, and
methods; process improvements; maintenance of accountability and
configuration of deliverable products and records; special
investigations and audits; material review support; preventive and
corrective actions; customer interface, liaison, and support; product
delivery; and audit of manufacturing and test data for Quality System
requirements. Provides technical expertise to company employees,
suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with
contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. Provides education
and coaching on the Quality System. Ability to plan and coordinate
improvements in manufacturing (e.g. hardware acceptance, variability
reduction, and assembly operations, etc.).
JOB SKILLS: Candidate must have experience with the AH-64 A/D Longbow
Helicopter. Have AS9100 training and experience. Experience as QA
liaison with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing and USG customer. Be
familiar with repair, modification or overhaul programs. Experience with
developing and maintaining quality metrics. Penetrant Inspection Level
II qualified needed. Candidate must also have experience and be
familiar with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel). Prefer a
bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years related experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
