Lead Technician
Description: ARINC in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a Lead Aircraft Technician to join their team to perform airframe and power plant maintenance on A-4 Hawk and Aermacchi MB339 aircraft at Williams-Gateway airport. The candidate will be required to travel in order to service deployed aircrafts. The candidate will be required to oversee and perform all facets of aircraft maintenance and maintain aircrafts in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and military technical orders. In addition, the candidate will also be required to lead less experienced mechanics in the completion of aircraft maintenance.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years aircraft maintenance experience on high-performance jet aircraft or similar type aircraft, to include supervisor experience. Experience must also include inspecting, troubleshooting, removing, installing, accomplishing airworthiness directives and service bulletins, and performing operational checkouts of the aircraft systems components such as, breathing oxygen systems and aircraft egress systems. In addition, experience must include performing sheet metal and fuel system maintenance, as well as, experience performing phase inspections, working with technical manuals, modification work orders, engineering drawings, and maintenance records. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Education or Certification Requirements: FAA A&P certification with an IA endorsement.
Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience
