Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical engineering, plus two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a related field. US Citizenship required. Current secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
Skills Needed:
This position will require experience with creating test and integration procedures for launch vehicles as well as performing such tasks. General electrical engineering candidate with background and basic understanding of analog and digital electronics. Experience on interfacing with other groups including Manufacturing, Test and quality to resolve design and test issues. Skills to write test procedure and review test data to ensure that hardware is tested properly and passed all required tests. Ability to perform as the Product Lead on an electronic assembly. Good interpersonal skills important as well as ability to communicate with engineers from various backgrounds. Documentation skills important and PC application software desirable.
Duties Specific to the Position:
Support Integration and Test on avionics. Act as product lead for an electronic assembly. Write test procedures for electronic systems and components. Performs analysis and test on one or more circuits, components or functional systems of company products. Responsible for properly implementing requirements in the component sub-systems, and electrical system areas. Travel of up to 20% of the time is required. Other duties as assigned.
