EMI/EMC Tempest Systems Engineer Needed ASAP for long term contract
Systems Engineering EMI/EMC focal point needed to provide coordination leadership for the HMS (Handheld Manpack Smallformfactor) project EMI activity. Will lead the EMI IPT meetings, interface with EMI experts from General Dynamic’s EMI staff and our team mates at BAE, IAD, Rockwell, and Thales and build consensus for program wide approach to EMI with the team mates. Job also requires EMI/EMC design leadership that will be responsible for updates to EMI Tech Brief (as the program’s working implementation philosophy document). Will be responsible for analysis of EMI requirements and preparation of Change Requests as needed to modify those requirements for particular platform applications, be a coordinator and lead for EMI portion of Set designs where GD is set lead. Will be responsible for EMI analysis of Set designs where GD is set lead and assist with and guide approach to EMI testing
Minimum of 10 years EMI/EMC experience in hand-held mobile radios and/or INFOSEC. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
