Summary        Design Engineers at Spectralux wear hats, lots of hats.  Not only do we get to work independently on our own designs, we also get to creatively apply our skills helping solve production issues and even provide guidance to customers.  This position combines the functions of project manager and design engineer for core product development.  It’s exciting, dynamic, and challenging.  Plus Spectralux is a great place to work.  If you like challenges and lots of hats, send us your resume. 

                       

Tasks

90 Days:          Learn the Spectra Lux Corporation Design process, the Change process, and the design standards.

 

6 Months:        Design and/or sustain product designs with minimal assistance.  Establish your reputation for providing excellent service to production, quality, and sales.

                       

1 Year:             Design and/or sustain product designs independently.  Contribute insight for process improvement. 

 Qualifications

 Minimum of five years experience in the aircraft avionics industryDemonstrated proof of success performing the job requirements listed above.Solidworks and AutoCAD software useTeam leadership
