Buyer II

Buyer II Description: You will be responsible for the procurement and management of MRO throughout the company’s site. You will be responsible for reducing and eliminating purchase order issues through root cause identification and corrective actions. Identify, plan and execute cost reduction opportunities. Effectively reduce contract issues through successful supplier agreements and kanban implementation. Be responsible for continually improving internal processes, tracking, invoicing, working with multiple departments and quality assurance. Ensure achievement of company goals and objectives and will be utilizing metrics effectively to measure performance goals.



Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 4+ years of experience with procurement, planning and manufacturing environment. Plus you will have applicable training or education. Must be able to work within MS Office suite, Oracle and a manufacturing environment. Effectively work both as a team and independently with ease. Looking for a pro-active problem solver. Candidates must have a familiarity with Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred
