APPLICATIONS ANALYST

JOB DUTIES: This selected candidate will apply knowledge of customer processes and computing applications that span multiple disciplines to support software life cycle development and sustaining methodologies, processes, procedures, and tools. Document and maintain functional specifications. Develop test plans, test cases, and perform software testing for releases. Provide functional analysis specific to:

- Service Availability, Reliability, and Performance

- Portal Enhancements

- Business Intelligence

Must be tenacious, innovative, able to work independently, and willing to take a primary role in the successful completion of work packages.

 

JOB SKILLS: This position requires knowledge of software systems

analysis process interaction, including gathering and analyzing requirements, and verifying data/function. Experience developing and delivering web content is desired. Effectively participates in accomplishing team goals, gives and seeks specific constructive feedback, works effectively with other work groups. Ability to identify and establish contact points to share information, promote teaming, and optimize individual and organizational effectiveness. Experience working with CAS applications or airline customers is a plus. Experience with SEI-CMM, Macroscope methodology, and use-case analysis is a plus.

Prefer a bachelor's degree appropriate to supported area or in computer science and 3 years' experience, a master's degree, or 5 to 10 years' experience and well developed skills.
