We are currently seeking an experienced professional whose work will drive our marketing organization to meet key financial targets and measure progress toward those targets.

 

FINANCIAL MARKETING ANALYST

Phoenix, AZ

 

Responsibilities:

·  Analyze marketing expenditures, create budgets and track accruals and budget variance reports/explanations

·  Access campaign performance data from CRM

·  Access media buying systems for spending reviews and analysis

·  Provide high volume, detailed work requiring data manipulation in spreadsheets and database environments on a daily basis

·  Design and perform statistical analysis to understand marketing campaign results and prospect behavior, segment customer base, etc.

·  Review budget variances, research/resolve discrepancies, and build tracking models

·  Create daily and month-end lead snapshot reporting for lead generation analysis

·  Identify the most responsive and/or profitable prospects, monitoring and trending characteristics/behaviors of non-responders and predicting future prospects

·  Provide analytical reporting and analysis derived from both standardized and ad hoc reporting, including insightful conclusions and recommendations to improve lead generation budgeting

·  Work closely with Finance to meet all SOX reporting and other requirements regarding marketing

·  Some general ledger accounting will be required

·  Prepare earnings call data

 

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Statistics, Marketing, Accounting or Finance

·  An advanced degree is preferred

·  At least 3-7 years of statistical/accounting experience

·  Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

·  Expertise in spreadsheet modeling

·  Previous experience with Excel, Access, Cognos is required

·  Working knowledge of Crystal reports, CRM and Core experience is preferred

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills

·  Previous experience as a Marketing Analyst is preferred

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
