Director of Marketing

Position Summary:

 

To drive and manage all marketing relationships and activities for assigned corporate and partner brands, driving measurement metrics including call volume and sales.  To develop, execute and analyze highly productive and cost-effective marketing campaigns and promotions designed to increase sales and maximize the revenue-producing capacity of the organization.

 Major Duties & Responsibilities:

 

· Develop marketing strategy for RCI, Owner Rewards, ICE brands along with executive team

· Develop, propose and execute print and online marketing promotions according to corporate partnership agreements.

· Analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and provide proper reporting to Executive management.

· Ensure goodwill and promote relationships with the brand partners.

· Work with product marketing team to ensure timely launch of new club and e-store products purposed to meet brand goals.

· Responsible for achieving expected call and revenue targets through sales of cruises, land, and excursion packages to the client’s member base.

· Aggressively facilitate consumer marketing initiative integration including, but not limited to: newsletters, e-mail campaigns, sweepstakes, coupon programs, certificates, directory exposure, magazine, direct mail, website merchandising.

· Work with Executive Management, Resort Business Development and Cruise Yield Management to ensure a complete understanding and compliance of contractual marketing obligations and opportunities (i.e., branded Privileges, cooperative direct mails, receiving owner databases, etc.)

· Maintain key brand partner data including knowledge of all sales and marketing aspects such as management contact names, sales practices and procedures, business development, marketing channels, number of sales per month, closing percentages, seasonally, average prices, unit types, etc.

· Management of all merchandising of vacation and membership programs though affiliated clubs

· Work with technology group to make sure that ecommerce results and reports from clubs and stores are tracked accurately.

· Other duties and program participation, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Experience presenting information to individuals and groups

· Ability to negotiate with and influence others

· Strong understanding of Direct Marketing, print advertising and online marketing principles

· Excellent layout, design, and visual creativity experience in creating marketing & sales collateral

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills

· Strong proven experience in Brand Marketing and Brand Integrity

· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management or other related field

· Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing, fast-paced work environment

· This position requires a commitment to working the hours required to make marketing campaigns successful, including evenings and weekends, as needed.  Due to the nature of this position, regular attendance at the office and 24 / 7 attention to assigned responsibilities is mandatory.Minimum Qualifications for Consideration: · Strong Knowledge of vacation/travel/timeshare industry marketing· 5+ years experience in an In-house/B2C/Member Marketing position

· 8+ years in program marketing or related field

· Strong knowledge of the Internet and e-commerce marketing, on-line and e-mail marketing· Experience in managing publication schedules and deadlines· Demonstrated track record of revenue growth through development and production of marketing campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

 

· Sales or marketing experience within the Timeshare, travel or cruise industry

· Experience with Salesforce.com software· Understanding of loyalty programs
