Business Analyst

Provides research and analyst support to corporate and divisional departments.

Monthly reports showing sales/GP/Change vs. PY on Natl. and Exclusive Brands

Monthly reports on brand performance in selected categories by sales/G.P., GP /case

Provide the information to the mgrs on a timely basis (under-promise, over-deliver)

Provide data for the Divisional RFP teams and Corporate Purch/Mktg managers in advance of Shamrock’s RFP’s and IMA RFP meetings.

Assist with data communication and notification of brands/line extensions data to the Divisional Conversion/RFP Teams and Mgmt as needed.

Train other 'super-users' on how to use B.I. and how to pull consistent reports that are already formatted.

 

-Bachelor Degree with at least 8 years of professional work experience

-Excellent data analysis skills and ability to work with large amounts of data comfortably. Superior Excel spreadsheet skills.

-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines

-Excellent capabilities/high comfort with Microsoft Office and Oracle programs—specifically Discoverer Plus or similar

-Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

-MBA with foodservice marketing experience with a distributor or manufacturer

-Experience with Oracle programs/software

-Financial analysis experience (familiarity with foodservice programs/margin calculations, etc.)

-Project management experience

-Energetic and assertive team player
