Records Contract Administrator

6+ MONTH CONTRACT PISITION / CANDIDAT MUST PASS A CREDIT AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.

 

General Position Summary

 

The purpose of this job is to perform, under supervision and according to established departmental policies and procedures, tasks supporting the contract administration and records storage functions. This position is responsible for reviewing requests for agreements from sales staff, preparing the requested agreements for mailing and tracking and recording the actions/approvals taken with these agreements in the Contract Administration Database (CID).

 

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

 

Performs multiple tasks associated with typing, reviewing, mailing, database entry, scanning, filing and identifying incomplete approvals or changes on agreements, and provides input for department reports. 

 

Respond to and resolve Account Manager and minor customer inquiries.

 

Follows established schedules and procedures.  Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.







Specific Job Skills

 

Must have demonstrated ability to follow through to completion all established processes.  Demonstrated ability to track and regularly follow up on incomplete issues.

 

Working knowledge of PC’s, Microsoft applications: WINDOWS, WORD 6.0, EXCEL, and relational database experience.  Knowledge of Microsoft ACCESS and WORD mail merge functions are a plus. 

 

Knowledge of standard records filing, storage and maintenance practices.

 

Must have the ability to quickly develop a thorough knowledge of company structure and processes as well as flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.

 

Must demonstrate communications skills, both written and oral.

 

 

Education and Experience

 

Position requires 3 years of experience in document control, records, contracts, legal and/or database administration; PC and software literate, ability to problem solve; good writing and word processing skills; experience working with customers; Associate Degree in business, legal or accounting preferred. Telecommunications experience is a plus.
