Office Manager
Olshan Foundation Repair, the largest privately owned foundation repair, stabilization and waterproofing company in America, with operations in 22 locations covering 10 plus states, has an opportunity for a dynamic Office Manager for our offices in Birmingham, AL.
Purpose:
To maintain the efficient operation of the administrative and customer service areas of the business. Work closely with the General Manager to meet company goals. Promote positive interaction with upper management, sales and production, and most especially with the public. This position tends to be the nucleus and conscience of the company.
Responsibilities:
Ability to utilize professional, friendly, relationship building telephone skills and to be able to teach that ability to others as the business growsAbility to meet company and customer needs by the correct scheduling of work to be done by the field personnelAbility to interact and communicate well with customers, management, and the people in the fieldProvide back up support with customers in regards to finance, or references, etc.Correct invoicing of jobs as they are produced, postings of payments and deposits as received; preparing and making bank deposits as requiredEnter payable into the system on a timely basisResponsible for the timely payment of billsOversee timekeeping procedures with the office staff and production personnelResponsible for proper inventories of office supplies Ability to maintain and secure all personnel files Responsible for weekly reportsProcess payroll on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentBachelor’s Degree preferredMinimum of 2-3 years office experience1 year Supervisory experience/management experienceAbility to work in a fast paced environmentCustomer service experienceAbility to multi task and problem solve Strong organizational and time management skillsOracle experience desiredBilingual a plus
