REPORTS TO:  Director of Customer Service

HOURS:  8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday

 

SUMMARY:

The General Administrator is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the company with special focus on the executive, customer management and purchasing areas.  This position provides word processing, Excel, On-contact, and other administrative support to the company.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide word processing and Excel spreadsheet supportData entry into On-contact, Pricing databasesMaintain Customer Ranking (A,B,C Listing)Provide administrative support including filing Assist with marketing material organization, including sample replenishmentGeneral mailing to customers (shutdown, maple syrup etc.)Assist in meeting and trade show administrationRun operational reports as requestedProvide purchasing support including ordering of some MRO items and opening PO’s for others – up to approximately ten hours per weekMaintain excellent customer, employee and vendor relations by being respectful and highly responsiveBack up for front desk and reception areaPerform routine customer order processingSample FulfillmentPerform market researchReview Bemis website for inquiries and respond to the requests.Perform project work as assignedPerform other duties as assigned by management

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Mature, well-organized, professional administrator with excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize.

 

Minimum of 4 years administrative experience with a proven record of reliability and dependability

 

Proficient with office equipment: phone system, fax, copiers, printers, postage meter

 

Expert in Microsoft / WINDOWS office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.  Knowledge of Quark, Sharepoint a plus.

 

Secretarial or Administrative Associates Degree a plus.
