Successful candidates will have a BS degree in human resources, communications, or business fields.  The incumbent must have at least 2 years Human Resources experience in addition to 5-7 years business administration experience.  Essential duties and responsibilities include assisting in general office coordination in a responsible and confidential nature.  Provide staffing support by sourcing resumes, scheduling interviews and coordinate pre-employment testing.  Communicate various announcements facility wide.  Communicate Plant Manager instructions or desires to various individuals and/or departments, and furnish/ obtain information from other department leads.  Receive, screen and or promptly respond to calls, correspondence, and/or visitors.  Answer routine questions and furnish information to save facility leadership time. Schedule appointments and make arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel. Organize and maintain Human Resource files per retention guidelines of supervisor's correspondence and legal documentation, following up on pending matters.  Prepare special reports, complex personnel correspondence, presentations, by gathering, and summarizing data.  Handle highly confidential information and files. Communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization, industry, and community.  Lead and support facility activity committee.  May assign and delegate work to others.  Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
