Facilities Representative
The Facilities Services Representative will provide on-going support to the Facilities Department Shipping & Receiving, Mail, and Office Services tasks. Facilities Services Representatives will report to the Office Services Supervisor, based in our headquarters located in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Process large volumes of incoming and outgoing mail
Sort and distribute daily mail deliveries
Track and distribute all courier and express packages
Assist with daily shipping and receiving tasks
Assist with day to day general office maintenance
Upkeep all office equipment (faxes, printers, copiers)
Keep all printers, faxes and copiers stocked with paper and toner
Stock all office supplies
Assist with asset management of all equipment and furniture
Move furniture/office equipment/ large boxes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The Facilities Services Representative must be self-motivated, able to work well in a team and be willing/able to move heavy office equipment. In addition, (s)he must not only be willing, but also excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced, often intense, rapidly expanding company. Thus skills/experience required should include:
Ability to work in a rotating shift environment
Valid MA Driver’s license and good driving history
Understanding of general office maintenance
Knowledge of postal mail classifications
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Strong Organizational Skills
High Attention to Detail
Strong Customer Skills
Proactive approach to daily responsibilities
Basic understanding of computer applications

Bases for Evaluation
The Facilities Representative will be evaluated as much on the performance of the team as the individual’s performance on discrete assignments and metrics.
S/He will receive an annual appraisal, including a 360 degree assessment, to review demonstrated level of foundational and job-specific competencies and achievement against job-specific business goals;
Compensation and Benefits
The Facilities Representative will be paid on a hourly basis, plus a potential annual bonus driven by the success of the Company, department and individual and determined at the discretion of management. Other benefits include:
