Administrative Officer
The Administrative Officer assists and facilitates in the management of the operational, personnel, and financial activities of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, Department of Medicine and Cardiovascular Kidney Institute. This position will provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator and Administrator of the division. Performs and assists with personnel management functions for the department to include, but not limited to interviewing, staff selection, performance evaluations, employee relations, communicating orientation and training recommendations. The Administrative Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the research program. These functions are performed in accordance with Georgetown University Medical Center's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Bachelor's degree preferred in HealthCare and/or Business Administration. Minimum of 3-4 years experience in office administrations, grant administration, communications, and/or personnel management. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, Advance knowledge of Photoshop and Corel a plus. Must be able to multi-task.
