Administrative Assistant to $42k Research
Excellent opportunity to learn about clinical trial and clinical research administration in a rapidly growing environment. A prominent and influential healthcare organization is seeking a polished individual with excellent writing skills to fill the role of Administrative Assistant. This position demands a high level of responsibility as you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Clinical research and research investigators. Responsibilities will include providing grant assistance in the form of preparation and processing of grant applications, assisting the department with research protocol, and communicating with patients and their families. Additional responsibilities will include providing support in the form of correspondence, dictation, Xeroxing, filing, faxing and typing, editorial work, coordinating travel, conferences, meetings and the tracking of expenses, coordinating all arrangements for visitors such as travel, hotel and meal accommodations, general office maintenance, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be capable of acting with discretion, and carry out all assigned duties with accuracy. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or secretarial certificate plus a minimum of two to three years of experience and proficiency in Macintosh or PC environment with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel/Louts, PowerPoint, Graphics, as well as Bibliography and Database Software.
