Travel Agent/ Customer Service

Under limited supervision, promotes and sells international air travel for our members via telephone or using computer reservation system. Researches complex travel rules and regulations. Assists in duties as assigned. Attend team meetings and/or training sessions as needed. Ensure reservations are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Handle 5 - 7 inbound calls per hour from clients wanting to book a trip. Advises clients on various packages, itineraries, availability and costs. Actively responds to member requests on specific marketing mailings promoting various vendors. Must be able to apply consultative selling techniques.
General requirements :
aggressive sales ability via phone, email and in person
2 years experience booking international airfare
excellent command of the English language
CRS experience with preference to Amadues
Demonstrate strong ability to sell preferred supplier travel products
ticketing experience preferred
wholesale and retail sales experience preferred
detail oriented, friendly and professional
pro-active and assist in various duties when needed
team player with ability to multi-task

Candidates should have some experinence with :
RESERVATION SYSTEM, AIRLINE AND CITY CODES, AND GENERAL TRAVEL INDUSTRY RELATED EXPERIENCE
