POSITION TITLE: Tax Analyst - Senior

SPECIFICATION NUMBER: 6664

LOCATION: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

COMPENSATION: $120K Base + Bonus

JOB SUMMARY:

Position Profile

This position reports directly to a Director in the Income Tax Reporting group. The primary responsibility will be related to Federal, State, US International income tax compliance matters with some support to other income tax functions. The accountabilities of this position include the following specific areas of responsibility and job requirements:

Federal Responsibilities:

• Preparation of consolidated and separate corporate and partnership federal income tax returns and quarterly estimates.
• Ensure that work papers and electronic files appropriately support the tax return and where payments are needed they are approved and paid in a timely manner. Assist in electronics filings of tax returns.
• Review and revise tax package/tax portal to be used as source for preparation of quarterly estimates and final tax returns including review of data source t/b and or other schedules utilized in preparing schedule M-3.
• Communicate with various outside consultants and company operating and finance personnel as we gather information necessary to prepare quarterly estimates and tax returns.
• Ensure estimates and tax returns reflect all current legal entities. Monitor M&A transaction log while ensuring that all forms and disclosures are filed on a timely manner
• Assist Audit team in preparation for and response to IRS audit inquiries. Research various tax issues and assist in selected tax planning projects.



International Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and/or review of the IRS/Treasury forms related to international operations including Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865.
• Assist in analyses required for compliance, as well as for support of tax accounting and tax planning functions, including Subpart F calculations, E&P and tax pool studies, and Section 163(j) calculations.

State Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation, analysis and review of state and local income tax returns and all supporting details, including estimated payments and extensions.
• Assist the tax controversy and planning team and the tax accounting team in gathering and analyzing data for various initiatives and financial reporting requirements

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or other financial discipline
• Minimum of two to five years of corporate tax experience
• CPA and or Masters Taxation

Technical Competencies:

• Demonstrate knowledge of corporate income tax laws
• Expertise in use of CORPTax software product including domestic, state and international preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word software products
• Proficiency in using online research tools (e.g., RIA, BNA and CCH)
