TAX SENIOR

Growing Novato CPA firm looking for motivated CPA. Firm just awarded recognition by the North Bay Business Journal as one of The Top 24 Best Places to Work. Job Purpose: Person filling this job is responsible for a full range of tasks that include tax compliance, tax consulting, business consulting, wealth planning, and financial engagements. Duties: * Participate in or help manage new and existing clients* Share in supervision of tax and accounting professionals* Manage client relationships* Assist with tax preparation and engagements for individuals, corporations, S-corps, limited liability companies, partnerships, estates, and trusts* Execute engagements according to specified time tables* Promote the firm through participating in business development activities Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, CPA preferred; minimum 4 years public accounting experience; ability to handle engagements of new and existing clients under supervision of tax managers; ability to handle client relationships; versed in tax research, planning, and preparation; when participating with financial engagements, versed in auditing and accounting research, planning, and statement preparation; good oral and written communication skills; and respected by peers with whom serving.
