Staff Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries, analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, and assist in preparation of management reports in support of monthly general ledger closing process.  Monitor and reconcile treasury stock transactions.  Perform and document completion of internal controls and procedures on a monthly basis.  Assist in review of external financial information reports.

 

Requirements:

2-5 years experience in a fast pace accounting environment.  Ability and flexibility to work and meet firm deadlines.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Strong Excel and Word skills are required.  Exposure to international operations a plus. 

 

Required Education:

 B.S. Degree in Accounting is required.
