Sr Tax Accountant

Our client, a growing, emerging publicly traded service company seeks a Sr. Tax Accountant for its Atlanta Corporate Accounting team.

Essential Functions:
1. Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations.
2. Provides all schedules, data and information to outside tax consultant who prepares the
income tax returns.
3. Manages all audits by taxing authorities.
4. Reviews customer sales contracts for tax related issues.
5. Prepares property tax returns for multiple locations.
6. Prepares monthly sales tax returns.
7. Prepares payment requests for all tax related items.

Other Functions:
1. Responsible for the accounting and disclosure of equity transactions including stock
options and employee stock purchase plan transactions.
2. Prepares annual reports for various states.
3. Reconciles all tax and equity GL accounts and prepares appropriate journal entries and
documentation of reconciliation.
4. Perform special projects as required.
