Sr. Staff Accountant - Oracle!

** $45,000-$55,000 (or commensurate with appropriate experience) **

 

Our market-leading client in the Sandy Springs area, noted for their employee appreciation as well as their impressive emphasis on balance between life and work, is looking for a qualified Sr. Staff Accountant (Oracle) who will be responsible for the following duties:

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The position will involve heavy month end close duties, general ledger business unit accounting, balance sheet, journal entries, reconciliations and implementation of accounting procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- GL accounting and monthly close responsibilities.

- Financial statement preparation.

- Internal management reporting and financial analysis.

- Financial project management.

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

- Payroll, commission calculations, and bonus calculations.

- Review of and/or preparation of external reporting for federal, state, and local governments including:

-- Sales taxes, Property taxes, Business licenses, 1099 reporting

- Assist Manager of Finance with projects or analysis as necessary.

- Additional projects and duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Bachelor’s degree and Accounting or Finance is required.

- CPA or a CMA is preferred.

- ORACLE financials experience REQUIRED.

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.
