Sr Mgr/Director, Financial Planning & Systems

General Summary: Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function’s drive toward a world-class finance process and systems infrastructure, including its drive toward enterprise process integration. Collaborating with other finance leadership, our Information Technology (IT) function and other business functions across the enterprise, you will lead a team chartered to improve financial processes, build an integrated systems vision and roadmap, and implement priority process and system initiatives, while supporting and maintaining financial systems and data warehouses. (The title and position responsibilities will vary based on candidate experience. We will consider candidates at a Senior Manager or Director level.)

Responsibilities:

Drive the Finance process and systems project roadmap including the integration into the overall company IT roadmap to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function while reducing IT costs

Manage the Finance IT enhancement process

Maintain support of Finance business systems

Partnering with IT, drive prioritized Finance projects to a successful implementation, including user training and acceptance

Drive the finance core functional training curriculum (SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, Building Process Capability, Project Management)

With IT and peers in other functional organizations, drive continual improvement in Company's process and systems methodologies

Requirements

BA/BS in Finance, Business or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA preferred, plus 15+ years related experience

Experience in software industry strongly preferred

Strong technical and functional background

Proven experience in building, managing, and developing high performing teams

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

System implementation and support experience

Proven ability to collaborate with many constituents and take a directed set of needs into an executable plan of deliverables

Process oriented, focused on standardization, streamlining, quality assurance, and implementation of best practices
