ResponsibilitiesOversee ledger activities for assigned areas/accounts for Equifax U.S. companies.  Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and Equifax policies.Review transactions, complete analyses, research and journal entry accruals as required.  participate in monthly forecast and close process.Perform monthly account reconciliations and reviews in accordance with established deadlines and procedures.Prepare balance sheet and P&L statements as required for areas assigned.Ensure that internal cnotrols are operating effectively and are updates; implement process improvements.Assist in completion of internal and external audit deliverables and other reviews as required; perform adhoc projects and assignments.

 

EDUCATIONFour-year degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA a plus

 

TECHNICAL SKILLSStrong Excel skillsOracle General LedgerHyperion Financial Management a plus

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIESBroad working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures with at least five (5) years accounting experience; 2 -3 years experience with Big 4 a plus.Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.GAAP
