Senior Manager

JOB SUMMARY


Proactively advises and identifies tax and accounting solutions to new and existing clients. Partners with the Client Development Mgr. (sales position) in actively promoting and marketing Tax & Business Services to high value business prospects.


Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of seven years experience providing tax, accounting, and business advisory services to small businesses.
In-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and tax laws.
Possess a strong desire and ability to promote and market accounting and tax solutions to business prospects.
Strong ability to build and maintain effective organizational and client relationships.
Ability to effectively supervise staff providing direction, support, mentorship, and professional development to assigned staff.
Self-starter and goal oriented.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and project simultaneously and possess excellent follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure; possesses the stamina to meet the time deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession.
Working knowledge of automated accounting systems.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation skills necessary to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences.
Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA.
Strong command and use of the English language and other languages required in a geographic area.
