Senior Financial Analyst

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Salary – up to $100K


Reports to the Director of the Accounting area within the Controllers Group.




Description:


• Prepare analysis of financial statements for applicable areas and prepare applicable sections of the annual report, SEC filings, and press releases.
• Provide counsel to Regions, operating units and staffs regarding financial accounting issues.
• Analysis of specialized accounting / reporting areas relating to SEC rules and regulations and FASB items.
• Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues.
• Prepare and analyze various monthly journal entries and monthly financial forecasts.
• Understanding of and ability to apply accounting and financial reporting standards (GAAP), SEC rules and regulations as well as FASB Statements and other related standards.




Qualifications:


• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical abilities where problems are complex
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Corporate/unit policies and procedures
• Highly proficient Personal Computer skills and technology driven
• Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints
• Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally




Education and Training:


• College degree with a major in accounting or business administration.
• CPA Highly Preferred.
