Senior Accountant-Internal Reporting & Analysis - (to 90K)

Our client is a Fortune 500 Manufacturer looking for a highly qualified candidate to be a part of the Internal Reporting Process/Function for their Global Business.  If you are looking to work with senior level management to add value to the accounting, finance, and operations of a business please consider this opportunity.

 

Area of Expertise:

Planning, forecasting and comparison of financial activity. Preparation, consolidation, analysis and documentation of financial data used to summarize and measure status, evaluation of business plans, and identification of variances and predict results.

 

Typical Roles/Area of Focus:Work with a team for the monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting process including consolidation of worldwide operating results, providing reporting by business, segment & geographic region. Provide analysis of worldwide business segments. Identify ways to promote efficiency within the reporting process and create a best practices environment. Work with Business Unit CFO’s and coordinate the financial results for all divisions.

Level of Responsibility:Work on projects, and programs in area of expertise to develop reporting and analysis for senior management. Contributes to the company and the industry by advancing the level of knowledge within that discipline. Provides cross-functional guidance and expertise. Is seen as a leading expert within their field.

Department Mission:

Provide accurate financial data in support of strategic initiatives; including cost actions, product development, and mergers and acquisitions.  Responsible for planning and analysis required for detailed performance assessments, strategic planning, business planning, and accurate internal reports.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. 3 plus years of progressive accounting/finance experience. Advanced degree or CPA preferred. Public & Private accounting experience would be ideal. Strong computer skills for presentation and analysis of data. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the company. Project management skills. Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
