Senior Accountant/Controller

Qualifications :
1. Financial and accounting experience in a small company environment that is growing • Strong accounting skills and experience (5 plus years). • Must have experience with Excel • Experience with mid level accounting systems (Peachtree a plus) • Cash management • Risk management • Experience with developing and writing procedures and processes • Interface with auditors and tax partners 2. Accounting • Process all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions • Process all customer sales transactions, sales orders and backlog reporting • Monthly departmental spending versus budget analysis • Reconcile all general ledger accounts 3.Financial Reporting and Modeling • Monthly financial reporting to investors • Maintain a 3 year financial business plan (Excel, bottoms up) 4. Previous startup, small company, or autonomous subsidiary experience required • Must understand resource constraints of a startup; absence of big company mentality • Experience in being a single person finance department • Able to complement existing management team and corporate culture 5.
