Responsibilities for this position will include:


 


Prepare, analyze and submit to management monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.


 


Prepare GAAP, IFRS and UOP statements and reports for management and external auditors.


 


Respond to urgent requests for information from holding company and international parent.


 


Provide written and financial exhibits for parent company's annual reports and SEC filings.


 


Assist in the procedural review and improvement process


 


Work with management to influence change in holding company.


Requirements:


BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field required.


Finance experience, including experience in financial analysis and reporting or public accounting is ideal.


Insurance or financial services industry experience or GAAP and IFRS (formerly IAS) accounting and reporting, including SEC requirements is preferred.


Strong organizational skills required.


Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.


Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Ability to work on several projects concurrently and adjust to changing priorities effectively.


Strong attention to detail, deadline orientation and continuous learning orientation.


Must be able to work both as a team player and independently.
