Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant needed for large and growing East Valley company. Individual must have solid work history, the drive to grow with a dynamic organization, and superior problem solving and critical thinking skills..
Responsibilities will include:
Support/direct the month end close process including reporting and analysis.
Prepare and process journal entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and performance reports.
Develop annual, quarterly, monthly plans and budgets.
Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, future requirements, and operating forecasts.
Identifies trends and recommends improvements (cost savings or profitability) accordingly.
Maintain, improve and enforce company practices, policies and procedures.
Lead/assist with various accounting projects.
Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting or related field
3 - 5 years accounting experience - cost experience preferred
High proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP system knowledge a plus
Previous experience in a Manufacturing or Construction environment highly desired.
